Neotame is a no-calorie sweetener, which is a derivative of the dipeptide composed of the amino acids, aspartic acid and
phenylalanine. The components of neotame are joined together to form a uniquely sweet ingredient. Neotame is sweeter than other marketed no-calorie,sweeteners and is approximately 30-40 times sweeter than aspartame; 8,000-12,000 times sweeter than sugar. Neotame will deliver comparable sweetness to sucrose in various natural Sweeteners such as Aspartame,Acesulfame K, Sucralose.Malic acid, also known as 2 - hydroxy succinic acid, has two stereoisomers due to the presence of an asymmetric carbon atom in the molecule. There are three forms in nature, namely D malic acid, L malic acid and its mixture DL malic acid. White crystalline orcrystalline powder with strong moisture absorption, easily soluble in water and ethanol. Have a special pleasant sour taste. Malic acid is mainly used in food and medicine industry.
